These Essential Practise Learning sessions will equip practitioners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to identify emerging concerns, apply professional curiosity, and use the Risk Outside the Home (ROTH) Screening Tool effectively.
Priority attendance aimed at professionals and practitioners who encounter children, young people or families where there are concerns regarding exploitation, criminal exploitation, CSE, county lines/OCG involvement, missing episodes or wider contextual safeguarding risks. Including but not exclusive to:
- All nominated ROTH Champions
- Police (e.g. PEAT, PVP)
- Frontline Children’s Managers
- Frontline Social Workers and Children’s Practitioners
- Designated Safeguarding Leads
- Frontline Health Practitioners (e.g. ED, Paediatric, CAMHS)
- Relevant Third Sector practitioners
- Youth Workers, Youth Justice and Probation
