The Isle of Man Safeguarding Board is pleased to welcome specialist trainer Helen Grey from Lights on Learning to deliver a one day course on multi-agency Think Family training, with dates available on 12 and 13 November.
Think Family is an approach which recognises that the wellbeing of children, adults and families is closely connected. Effective safeguarding requires practitioners to look beyond individual circumstances and consider the wider family context, bringing together information, perspectives and professional expertise to understand risks, strengths and support needs more fully.
Designed for professionals across children's and adults' services, the training will explore professional curiosity, unconscious bias, information sharing, multi-agency working and recognising hidden vulnerabilities. Participants will gain practical tools to support more holistic assessments, stronger partnership working and better outcomes for families.
