Information for Professionals

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility

Everyone has a right to live in a world free from abuse and neglect and to have their wishes, feelings and views respected.

Safeguarding adults is about both preventing and responding to abuse and neglect of all adults that have care and support needs.

The Safeguarding Board aims to ensure that agencies are working together to safeguarding and improve outcomes for all adults at risk of experiencing abuse or neglect or actually being harmed.
